Due to a lack of resources, this website and the network will no longer be maintained effective September 30, 2025. We’ve enjoyed working with the schools on Vancouver Island for the last 20+ years. Unfortunately, UVic/PICS have not stepped in to keep the project going. And both of us are too old to be scrambling on school roofs!
If this is site is important to you, please email: vpr@uvic.ca and picsdir@uvic.ca with a copy to ajweaver@uvic.ca to communicate to these decision makers why you believe this network is important to maintain.
For more information about the history of the project and what is needed to maintain it, please consider viewing the blog post I put together.
